thread painting CLASS APRIL 25, 2022

Lexi Burg is giving a trunk show presenting a variety of examples of her thread art.  Following the show she will demo thread painting and texturing.

We will learn how thread weights, batting, fabric manipulation and embellishments can add extra layers of interest to your quilts. Examples of each will be on hand. 

If you would like to practice thread painting, bring your:  

• Sewing machine 
• 6” or 8” plastic, spring loaded embroidery hoop 
• Thread 
• Practice fabric 
• Water-soluable stabilize (OESD Aqua Mesh or Sulky Solvy or Sulky Fabri Solvy).  

Lexi is bringing embellishment supplies you can practice with.  

These techniques are fun and easy to do.  Use them in your next work of art!
