Community Service is an important activity in Calico Cut-Ups (CCU). In addition to the generosity of CCU members, CCU receives an annual grant from the Arizona Quilters Guild (AQG) for service projects.
As of Dec 20, 2020, Calico members report that they have made over 1,900 face masks to donate to healthcare centers, friends, and family! A big THANKS to all the ladies who were able to contribute to this effort. Keep checking back...we'll be updating the numbers.

This is one of the veterans receiving a quilt.
Honor House was founded by Brian Mancini who served two tours in Iraq as a Combat Medic. He was seriously wounded in 2007. He recognized that Veterans dealing with PTS/TBI and other injuries needed more than just traditional medicine. He founded the Honor House, which received its 501C3 in 2012. Brian passed away in 2017 but his legacy lives on providing the help and healing our Veterans need.
