Fabric is not measured by what you have, it is measured by the quilts you make!
Voices for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) children supports fulfilling the needs of foster children that may not be adequately served by other child welfare or service-oriented organizations. This is accomplished by connecting experiences, gift cards or needed items that make up an important part of the child’s well-being during their foster care placement. In addition to supporting foster youth, the Child Enrichment Program is designed to support CASA by providing the availability of free, kid-friendly activity opportunities for the CASAs and their CASA youth to experience together.
Marlene has chosen this organization to support with our charity quilts. She is asking we donate quilts in the following sizes:
· Crib: 36” X 52”
· Child: 52” X 52”
· Teen: 40” X 72” (This is the most needed size)
Marlene has kits made up with a pattern and the pieces to make the quilt tops. If you would like to quilt or bind one of the quilts, Marlene probably has one or two ready for your expertise. Just look for the Charity Quilt table.
You should look through your stack of quilts and see if you have any to donate.
